6 Confirmation - June 6 will be celebrated at the 11:00 a.m. Mass, Archbishop O´Brien presiding. It is a joyful day in parish life. However, there will be a larger number present than usual at this Mass. If this is of concern, you are welcome at the other two weekend Masses. Let us pray for our beloved Confirmation candidates.
8 The CWL is having a cash raffle to raise funds. The prizes are $300, $200 and $100. The draw will be held on June 8th at our pot luck. If you can help us out by selling a few books of tickets, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support.
8 CWL - Our POT LUCK SUPPER will be held in the parish hall Tues June 8, 5:00 to 7:00 pm. That evening we will be honoring members with special anniversary pins and we extend a warm welcome to our new members. This will be our last get together for the summer. Each year at this time we accept donations for BIRTHRIGHT. Birthright is an organization that relies on donations to help pregnant women in need. Monetary donations as well as gifts for infants are greatly appreciated. There will be a collection basket at the entrance of the church the next two weekends.

10 Kindergarten Registration for September 2010 - Children of Separate School Ratepayers qualify for Junior Kindergarten if they will be 4 years of age by December 31, 2010. Children qualify for Senior Kindergarten if they will be 5 years of age by December 31, 2010. For registration, please provide copies of your child’s Catholic Baptismal Certificate and Immunization Record. Registrations for September 2010 are being welcomed now. 13 Deacon B. Legris Silver Anniversary The twenty-fifth anniversary of the ordination of Deacon Bernie Legris will be celebrated Sunday, June 13,11:00 a.m. followed by a reception in the hall until 2:00 p.m. for all friends, parishioners and admirers. We praise and thank God for Deacon Bernie’s ministry among us. May our celebration express our affection and appreciation for him. Reserve the date. Sign up sheets to participate and to assist in determining the amount of food preparation, will soon be in the church entrance.
19 Celebration of the Year for Priests Planned for Saturday, June 19,a full meal including BBQ chicken, salads, dessert and beverages will be served for $7.50 per person with a child’s selection of a hotdog, salad, dessert and beverage for children 10 and under, for $3.00. Tickets are on sale at all masses this weekend and next. This BBQ is in honour of our retired pastors in celebration of The Year for Priests and is sponsored by the CWL, the Knights of Columbus and your Hall Committee.

21 Painting of the Side Walls in the Church We will begin this project on Monday, June 21st and expect to have the north wall completed within three days. The south wall will be done the following week. 12 parishioners have volunteered to help paint. If anyone else wants to leave her/his mark, please call Dick Hoffman at 613-384-2267 to join the team.

5 Wolfe Island Day Camp - The camp is open to children 5 to 12 years. Cost of registration is $125. per child for a one-week session with a 10% discount for additional week that a child is registered. Camp begins the week of July 5 and completes Aug. 13. Activities include: swimming, hiking, sports, games and crafts. Weekly trips include: Bowling, Buskers, Movie, Playtrium, Lazer Tag, Upper Canada Village and Grass Creek. 11 The Bedford Social/Fish Fry Dinner - Sun. July 11 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at Fogarty Hall, Sacred Heart Parish, located ion the Westport Road between Godfrey and Westport. 19 Cruise with a Difference - Sun. Sept, 19. Enjoy the fall colours, while touring from Gananoque to Kingston and return. The boat leaves Gananoque Boat Line Dock at 1:30 p.m. and returns approx. 5:30 p.m. Snacks will be served and a concession stand will be open. Activities for children.
